Auditing and Assurance Associates

As a Smoak, Davis & Nixon staff accountant in our auditing and assurance department, you will have the opportunity to work directly with partners, managers and seniors, providing audit and business advisory services for our multifaceted business clients. You will gain experience and training in various areas, including audits, reviews, compilations, research and consulting.

Tax Associates

As a Smoak, Davis & Nixon staff accountant in our tax department, you will have the opportunity to work directly with partners, managers and seniors, providing tax and business advisory services for our multifaceted business and individual clients. You will gain experience and training in various areas, tax return preparation (such as partnerships, S-Corporations, corporations, fiduciary), tax research and consulting.

Entry level candidates should have an Accounting degree with a strong academic record, ability to sit for the CPA exam, work/internship history and leadership experience.
 

Opportunities for Practice Support Professionals

We are seeking individuals with a passion for helping businesses prosper to serve in a range of Practice Support positions. As our firm grows, we anticipate a continuing need to find office administrative and office service professionals to support the firm’s operations. Candidates should have good organizational, written and verbal communications skills, and experience in Microsoft Office suite.
