Since 1973, Lavon has been providing auditing, assurance, business consulting and tax services to various commercial companies, non-profit organizations and credit unions. In addition, he provides estate planning and tax services to business owners, executives and high net worth individuals and families. He specializes in credit union auditing and consulting with over thirty years of extensive experience in this area. He previously served on the firm's executive committee and as Managing Partner from 1995 thru 2003. Lavon is a current member and past president of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Jacksonville Chapter, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He serves as a trustee for the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, on the board of directors of Builders Care and as a trustee and treasurer of Florida Christian College. Lavon earned a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University in 1968. Prior to joining the firm in 1973, Lavon served as an officer in the United States Army and was an auditor at Price Waterhouse. When Lavon is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family, church and community service activities and fishing.

Since 1974, Jim has been providing auditing, assurance, business consulting and tax services to various commercial, construction, manufacturing, real estate and utility companies as well as tax and planning services for entrepreneurs, executives and high net worth individuals and families. Jim previously served on the firm's executive committee and as managing partner from 2004 to 2006. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jim earned a B.S. in Mathematics and a MBA with concentration in accounting from Auburn University in 1970 and 1973, respectively. Prior to joining the firm in 1974, Jim served as an officer in the United States Army for two years and was a college instructor of accounting and business. When Jim is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Since 1974, Jeff has been providing auditing, assurance, business consulting and tax services to commercial companies as well as tax and consulting services to estates, trusts, business owners, executives and high net worth individuals and families. He has extensive experience in the auto, equipment, construction and manufacturing industry. Jeff serves on the firm's executive committee as managing partner. He is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In 1974, Jeff earned a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University and joined the firm the same year. When Jeff is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family, attending Florida State sporting events and alumni functions, community service and golf.

Since 1982, Ed has been providing financial and investment planning, business consulting and tax services to commercial companies, estates, trusts, business owners, executives and high net worth individuals and families. He is the founder and the President of River Capital Advisors, L.C. (RCA), a Registered Investment Advisory firm affiliate with Smoak, Davis & Nixon LLP. Ed serves on the firm's executive committee and is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association. In addition to being a Florida licensed CPA, he is a Certified Financial Planner practitioner (CFP®), Personal Financial Specialist through the AICPA and a Registered Investment Advisor with the Securities & Exchange Commission. In 1982, he earned a B.S. in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. When Ed is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family, community service activities, traveling and is an avid Jacksonville Jaguar fan.

Rob also serves as the chairman of the firm's accounting and auditing committee. He has served as a member of Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants' "Principles and Auditing Standards Committee" and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In 1988, Rob earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of North Florida and joined the firm the same year. When Rob is away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family and community service activities.
