Qualifications

    • Minimum 2-year college degree with coursework in accounting, bookkeeping or business
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting
    • Quick Books certified preferred
    • Familiarity with standard accounting concepts and bookkeeping procedures
    • Experience with basic accounting software and computer/mobile-based apps

  • Preparation of intermediate tax returns, including individual, corporate and partnership returns
  • Competent technical skills and work quality, adherence of professional and firm standards

  • Competent technical skills and work quality, adherence of professional and firm standards
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to assist staff associates and interns
  • Critical thinking and ability to analyze complex tax issues
  • Proficiency in tax research using reference sources available
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end estimates and handle preliminary client planning
  • Begin to develop quality client relationships

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of public accounting experience in tax
  • CPA eligible (licensed preferred)
  • Prior tax return review experience preferred
  • Excellent written/oral communication
  • Work well under pressure

Functions

  • Supervision of tax returns based on audited financials, multi-state activity, and high net worth individuals
  • Final technical review of tax returns and documents
  • Ability to employ research skills and ability to effectively communicate results with clients
  • Stay current on changes in tax law and accounting procedures, ability to implement among client base
  • Active role in staff development and recruitment
  • Assist partners/superiors with workflow and monitoring deadlines
  • Consistent evaluation of internal processes, work product and personnel
  • Utilize confident client facing communication when necessary

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of public accounting experience in tax
  • CPA certification required, FL license preferred
  • Masters degree in Taxation preferred
  • 4+ years prior tax return review and staff supervision experience
  • Excellent written/oral communication
  • Work well under pressure
  • Manage time effectively and efficiently

  • Ability to supervise and delegate

  • Staffing of audit and other attestation engagements, rapidly assume responsibility for smaller accounting
    engagements

  • Staffing and increased supervision of audit and other attestation engagements, responsibility for intermediate accounting engagements
  • Competent technical skills and work quality, adherence of professional and firm standards
  • Efficient knowledge of AICPA pronouncements, FASB opinions, and GASB when assigned
  • Technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff associates and interns
  • Critical thinking and ability to analyze complex issues
  • Ability to prepare/review a complete set of financial statements
  • Begin to develop quality client relationships
